The national palliative care conference takes place from 29 September to 1 October at Södra Berget conference centre in Sundsvall. Transcutan is present throughout the programme, and we look forward to three days with the professionals working in palliative care across Sweden.
Nationella konferensen i palliativ vård has been held since 2010 and is the meeting point where research, clinical practice and operational questions come together in this field. This year is the eleventh edition. For us it is one of the most important opportunities of the year to listen to the people who actually use our products.
Why we are here
In palliative care the calculation around catheter access is a different one. The goal is not to continue treatment for as long as possible, but to make the time that remains as good as it can be. Fewer needle sticks. Fewer interruptions. More days at home rather than in hospital. An access line that works, day after day, is what makes all of that possible.
What you can talk to us about
At our booth we show how TauroLock™ and NutriLock™ solutions can be used in palliative care. We are equally happy to talk about the things that do not appear in a product brochure. How routines survive being passed from one colleague to the next. What happens when a line misbehaves in a patient’s home at eleven at night. What you would want a product to do differently.
Come and find us
We are at our booth across all three days. Three days is enough time for a real conversation rather than a quick exchange between sessions, so bring your question. If you would like to book a time that suits you, get in touch in advance and we will make sure someone is available.
See you at Södra Berget.
