We were on site as exhibitors for the second year in a row and had the opportunity to meet many healthcare professionals working in palliative care in Sweden, both in hospitals and within home healthcare.
Palliative patients often have a central venous catheter for nutrition, fluids, and/or medication. Therefore, it is important that this patient group is protected against catheter-related bloodstream infections and catheter occlusions— a vision we shared with many of the participants who visited our booth.
